The client stood up, buttoning his shirt with an air of detachment. His gaze barely flickered toward the woman curled up on the bed, her body trembling as she cried silently, the weight of pain and disgust pressing down on her like a crushing wave. Her arms clutched her knees tightly, as if trying to shield herself from the world.
He turned to her husband, who stood at the door, waiting impatiently. "Bring her to the farmhouse tomorrow," the client said with chilling nonchalance. "We'll seal the deal then."
